  • We offer mobile Exercise Physiology across Sydney, as well as clinic/gym-based sessions in Kogarah. Depending on your function and goals, sessions may be at home, in the community, or in a gym setting.

  • Yes, we are an NDIS registered Exercise Physiology provider. This means we can work with both self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed participants.

  • Exercise Physiology services are usually funded under:

    • Improved Daily Living (Capacity Building)

    • Improved Health and Wellbeing (Capacity Building)

    We can help you and your Support Coordinator identify the right category to claim from.

  • We support a wide range of conditions including:

    • Neurological conditions (e.g., Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke)

    • Intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder

    • Mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression)

    • Chronic pain, arthritis, musculoskeletal injuries

    • Cardiovascular, metabolic, or respiratory conditions

  • Many of our clients are referred by GPs and specialists, however a referral is not required.

  • Exercise physiology sessions may be claimed depending on your level of cover. Check with your private health provider.

  • Exercise physiology services are covered by Medicare only when your GP refers you with a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

  • The majority of sessions are one on one client facing. We do offer telehealth/online and group-based training options. Contact us to determine what is best for you.

  • With both professions having ’physio’ in their name, they are often confused or incorrectly used interchangeably. What makes things even more difficult is some practitioners are dual qualified which adds to the confusion.

    Typically, the main difference is that physiotherapists offer hands on treatment such as massage, acupuncture and joint manipulation and usually see clients during the acute phases of injury.

    Exercise physiologists use a hands-off treatment method providing evidence-based movement and exercise intervention for chronic disease prevention and management, musculoskeletal injuries and weight management.

  • Clothes and shoes you are comfortable exercising in, a water bottle and a gym towel.

  • The use of face masks during a session is optional.

  • Yes. We provide progress reports, functional assessments, and letters of recommendation that can support your Support Coordinator or therapy team during plan reviews to ensure your ongoing needs are clearly communicated to the NDIS.
