LOCATION & SERVICE DELIVERY

  • VEZBA provides mobile Exercise Physiology across Sydney, with clinic and gym-based sessions available in Kogarah.
    Depending on your goals and function, sessions may be delivered in your home, in the community, or in a gym setting.

  • Yes. VEZBA is a community-based provider and offers in-home Exercise Physiology services across Southern Sydney (service area dependent).

  • No. While gym-based sessions are an option, care is primarily delivered at home and in the community, where it best supports real-world function and independence.

  • Yes. Telehealth sessions may be suitable in certain situations and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

  • We provide mobile services across Southern Sydney, including but not limited to:

GETTING STARTED

  • VEZBA is suited for people who want to improve movement, strength, function and independence through structured rehabilitation and reablement – delivered in real-world environments.

  • Availability depends on location and clinician capacity. Once you submit an enquiry or referral, we’ll confirm suitability, service area and next steps as quickly as possible.

  • A referral is not required to start.
    Many clients are referred by GPs, specialists, or Support Coordinators, but you can self-refer at any time.

NDIS (PARTICIPANTS, FAMILIES & SUPPORT COORDINATORS)

  • Yes. VEZBA is an NDIS registered Exercise Physiology provider and works with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants.

  • Exercise Physiology is commonly funded under Capacity Building supports, including:

    • Improved Daily Living

    • Improved Health and Wellbeing

    We’ll help identify the most appropriate category based on goals and plan structure.

  • We support a wide range of conditions, including:

    • Neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, MS, Cerebral Palsy)

    • Intellectual disability and autism

    • Mental health conditions

    • Chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions

    • Cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory conditions

    If you’re unsure whether Exercise Physiology is appropriate, we’re happy to talk it through.

  • To move quickly, we typically need:

    • Participant details and consent

    • Plan type (self / plan / NDIA managed)

    • Primary goals and support needs

    • Preferred service setting and suburb

    • Relevant reports (if available)

  • Yes — with appropriate consent. We follow clear privacy and consent processes to ensure communication is appropriate.

  • Yes. Where appropriate, we provide progress summaries, functional assessments and supporting documentation within Exercise Physiology scope.

  • Yes. With consent, we collaborate with OTs, Physios, Support Workers and Coordinators to align goals and avoid duplication.

AGED CARE & MEDICARE

  • Yes – Medicare rebates apply only when referred by a GP under a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

  • Reablement focuses on improving or maintaining independence in daily activities such as walking, transfers, stairs, balance and confidence at home. Exercise is used as a tool, but function is the goal.

  • Yes. Programs are designed around the space available. We don’t require gym equipment.

  • Yes. Falls prevention is often a core focus and may include balance training, strength, walking confidence and safe movement strategies.

WORKERS COMP / CTP / SIRA

  • Referrals may come from GPs, insurers, case managers, employers or the client (scheme-dependent). We’ll confirm requirements before starting.

  • Yes. Programs are designed to build functional work capacity, including lifting, stamina, tolerance and confidence.

  • Yes – with consent and where required. Communication is professional, relevant and within scope.

WHAT HAPPENS IN SESSIONS

  • The first session typically includes:

    • Functional assessment

    • Goal setting

    • Clear treatment plan

    • Initial exercises and safety guidance

  • Yes. VEZBA sessions are individualised and one-to-one. Group programs may be introduced in future.

  • We may bring basic portable equipment where appropriate. Many programs safely use everyday household items.

  • Yes – where appropriate. Programs are simple, realistic and sustainable.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for movement. Bring a water bottle and towel if needed.

SAFETY, CONSENT & PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

  • We prioritise safety. If medical review is needed, we’ll recommend escalation and communicate with the care team (with consent).

  • No. VEZBA provides exercise-based rehabilitation. If manual therapy is required, we’ll discuss referral options.

  • No – unless explicit written consent is provided. Marketing or education media requires separate consent.

  • Face masks are optional unless otherwise required by health guidance.

FEES, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Coverage depends on your policy. Please check directly with your health fund.

  • Travel charges depend on location and service type. Any applicable fees are confirmed before commencing.

  • A cancellation policy applies to protect clinician time and service availability. This is provided in writing prior to starting services.

    • Plan-managed: invoiced to the Plan Manager

    • Private clients: invoiced directly
      We’ll confirm your preference upfront.
